Financial Controller
Mandate
Plan, organize, direct and control all operations of the accounting cycle.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of three accounting and payroll technicians
- Prepare general accounting entries
- Review books of account, prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Review financial statements and accounts and prepare tax returns
- Ensure the implementation of appropriate accounting control procedures
- Interact with external auditors to complete audits
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with creditors
- Prepare annual operating budgets and monthly forecasts
- Propose continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize the department

Skills sought
Qualifications required :
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting with an accounting designation
- Experience as an auditor or in a manufacturing company
- Knowledge of the Office suite (including advanced Excel), ERP and Prextra (an asset)
- Experience in a context of cohabitation of an ERP and different in-house systems is an asset
- Bilingualism (French and English)
- Profile required.
